The best resource available for Nelson Brothers engines in Hank Czerwick's registry. Unfortunately, no serial number list or other factory records are known to be available.

There were so many different engine names of engines built by Nelson Brothers that it would take a large book to hold all the numbers if they were available. They built engines under at least 30+ names. They would put any companys name on the brass tag as well as the city they were supposedly built in, When as most everyone knows they were Built is Saginaw Michigan. You can roughly date them this way, if they have a Wico E K mageto they were built sometime after late 1923. Thats when the Wico E K came on the scene. Joe Morris
