Photo Villiers Lightweight Engine Carb & Manifold

Hi,
Iím chasing a B.12/A type carby & manifold to suit a 150cc 4 stroke Lightweight Villiers engine - vertical shaft. Engine is fitted to a Singer lawn mower. Have posted a thread in carbs & mixers with no response.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hello Mr Ozzie
Is this what you have?
Sometimes it's easier for people to identify on the large picture instead of a picture of the particular part. Bigger picture scheme of things thinking.
Quite an unusual looking engine. I like them.

Cheers Scott

Thanks Scotty, yes I believe that maybe the one, I know the pic. Have been in contact with fellow member from here thatís where the carb shot come from. Had engine apart for inspection & clean out all looked really good - lapped valves, tested coil & replaced the condenser then reassembled - with a shot down the plug hole one pull away she went.

Cheers

Scotty,
Nothing like a good challenge!! It has actually scrubbed up ok, I’m not going the whole hog with it a this stage, just a tidy up to get the engine running on the deck - if the rest comes along good - Singer lawn mower stuff is rather light on the ground I’d say. Anyway, some patients a carb & manifold will do it.
Cheers

No. But a few people reckon I know Mrs Palmer. It's all a lie
Why do you ask Mr Sunshine?

That carby looks familiar and I have seen them on a few different Villiers engines. You would think there are a few of them about.

Also try asking on the mower site here in Oz, vintagemowers.net there may also be an opening for parts there too.

I found 2 today. Pity they were attached to mowers. No Mrs Palmers sadly.
Cheers Scott
