Default Mall Tool Co. military generator set

hi new to smokstak thought you mall chain saw guys might know somthing about this gen set. its made by the mall tool co. for military stamped us propertythis is the info from the tag that was on the rewind. type b-12 volts 120 cycle 60 phase 1 kw2.5 rpm 3600specification no. mil g 6515 order no. af33- 600- 8426 stock no.8210-321410 ive had this gen set for a long time i havent took it to any shows as the coil was bad and i had it wired up with a car coil and a battery but today after looking on here i found standard magnetos number called them and they had the whole mag plate with coil points condenser and rotor for 45.00 so now mabe we can get it to run without all the wires and battery i was woundering if someone may know where i could get a recoil spring that was broke when i got it and if anyone has any info on this gen set it shure would be helpful it is a 2 stroke engine thanks guys

I think this is a Mall 1MG with the generator option. It was made 1 year, 1953. Parts for a Mall 1MG chainsaw motor may fit.

this engine has a float carb no name or id numbers on it got it running and producing power it is a large engine no id numbers on the engine that i can find hard to see much of the engine as it is in an enclosure recoil spring i got from a friend thats in the small engine bussiness it was for a tecumsah engine had the round end that fit over the pin on the rope hub works well as a replacement what would this gen set be worth any collector value thanks
