Default Flywheelers Swap Meet

well, the start for a new season is upon us. Been there once for the show as a spectator. Wanna go down in a couple weeks with some of my parts/engine (nothing special, just the mix of typical small, medium and bigger engines, generators). It is a long established swapperama, but what can I expect, besides the great weather? If I prep for days, load the van and trailer....I don't want to be surrounded by i.e. modern lawn mowers....Are there actually sales going on or is it more the get-together after the winter season, stretch the bones in the sun and so on. Love the location and the various themed buildings, but I am not retired yet, so I have to generate some green bucks to at least justify the days off work, fuel...

Thiel glad to hear you'll be coming south. Looks like the weather is epected to be nice and the swap meet is usually a good time both for running engines and selling parts. When you register make sure to tell them you are ehibiting engines and want to be in the engine exhibit area(try to request a spot on row 2-6 and they start accepting arrivals on the 10th). Otherwise if you mention selling you may end up in the flea market. Stop by for a visit , we'll be on row 1&2 spaces 11 &12. Look forward to seeing you.

Thiel, Welcome down to Florida. I'm a piker compared to most of the folks at the show. I've been attending the show since the Silver Spurs Rodeo Grounds location in Kissimmee a few years back (seems that way anyway). There is plenty of good old iron at the show. I love the engines & gen-sets and have brought a few home over the years Someday I'll bolt some of the collection to a trailer and drag it over for swap and display ...one of these days...... Good show with friendly folks.
