I heard that an Iowa person bought them and is building a new facility for them somewhere north of Des Moines. True or not I don't know but that's the rumor I hear anyhow.

I may be speaking with a little prejudice, but i thought the question was what shows to attend next year, not what shows to avoid.
No problem, just sayin.

Thanks for the photos, Russ. Had heard that Jerry was gathering up some more prairie breaking tractors. Is he going to continue doing his starting demonstration? Guess we'll be there if it isn't just unbearably hot.

As far as I know, he sure will be wanting to do the starting demos. We started the Minnie a week or so ago, then the E last night, he is sure working on them in spite of the weather we have been having, a very dedicated individual. He doesn't quite have enough body weight to roll the E over, but i'm sure we can help.

Talked to Wendel Kelch yesterday and it looks like the show at Wauseon Ohio is getting a nice lineup of prairie tractors. Wendel’s Mogul and Titan, the Wallis bear and possibly some of George Shaffs tractors, and others. That show will be June 21-24. Prairie tractors are the feature this year, Great show grounds.

Photo Re: Which Shows to Attend This Coming Year?

I didn't see this post until today, but as Steve ihredo4 noted in post #14 the Stephenson County Antique Engine Club is featuring Rumely Tractors & Equipment this year at our 49th Annual Threshing Show August 3rd 4th & 5th 2018.

Stephenson County Fairgrounds on the South Edge of Freeport Illinois.

And I just noticed a Major Typo on our Show Poster (Rumley)
which is kind of amusing as the correct spelling is right above it on the Rumely Logo.

We don't have as much stuff as we used to have back in the 1970s but are slowly building things back up again and have been blessed to have a couple Very Fine 30-60 Oil Pulls back on the show grounds the last few years now along with several other Prairie Tractors (depending on the 'feature' each year).

Hoping for a good show this year and for continued growth in years to come.

I picked up co-chair for the Freeport Show Rumely feature this year. We are doing pretty good at having a full lineup with some duplicates of all Heavy, Light and SuperPowers. Unconfirmed at this time are the B, F 18-35, H 14-28, and Z 40-60. Owners contacted but...
