I saw an "HC" on it for sure.

This long weekend i managed to weld up the front steel and get rid of those ugly fronts. Still no other progress, only in my mind. The weather has been very warm here and i'm almost put away for winter.

When i bought the front cutout hubs they came on an axle with WAYYY better kingpins and bushings. I actually have to remove these wheels again to switch that axle out, going to find a spot in the shop as the pan needs to come off as well.

I'm glad to see another surviving MM/Twin City. You have a nice piece to start with that helps a lot. I wish you good luck in your restoration. I have a late MTA that I restored some years back and I absolutely love it. I'll attach some pics.

I looked at an MTA several weeks ago, on steel. The owner had it split years ago to change the clutch in front of his shed and winter came on so they bolted it back together and pulled it out to the tractor row. Since then the engine seized.

That's too bad. These tractors are neat, I really like the lightweight tractor offering s from the big prairie tractor makers. I'd like to have a KTA to go with my MTA someday.

Some word on the internet suggests that 1938 models had red wheels, i'm no M&M expert so I decided to plead ignorance and just move forward.
Got the wheels painted this weekend, as said before the rears are IH 10-20 and the same spline. I'm going to use this setup for now until I find some correct rears, may be visiting ol gleaner south of here on those cutout hubs. I'll always have a use for 10-20 rears at our place regardless.
Still toying with the idea of painting the tractor prairie gold, I REALLY like that gold/red combination.

1938 KTA would have TC grey wheels same as rest of tractor.. 1938 MM would be cherry red to go with Prairie Gold.
