Default IHC Titan 1020

When sitting at the steering wheel, which of the cylinders is number one. Or doesn't it matter.
Thanks,
Alan

Hi Alan, The book says time it to the left hand cyl. But it doesn't say if you are sitting on it or standing in front. Must be close to being done now right?Rob

I'm nearly positive the cylinder nearest the flywheel is #1.

Both cylinders are timed the same just 360 degrees apart, so worst case you would have to switch the sparkplug wires. Usually left and right refers to sitting in the drivers position.

Thanks to all for the replies,

Yes, Rob, while we are waiting for the weather to warm up to do more painting we decided to see if it would run. We had it running today on just the priming bowl, but at least it ran. We were having trouble last week due to timing issues between mag and engine so we decided to start over and it worked. Basically the mag was out of time with the engine.

It's tough to work once a week for three hours. By the time you get back to it you've forgotten where you are and where you are going.

Well Rob, it ran around the grounds yesterday and is show ready. I took a video with my phone but of course had the phone in the wrong position and got a sideways view when I tried to put it on the computer. You'll have to wait for the show. Coming fast.

Thanks, Craig, I think I've got it but not sure. I'm one of those who likes Facebook only when it does something for me.
