Default Early Gas Tractor Designers

I was wondering if anyone has a list of early gas tractor designers. I know of D.M. Hartsough and G.W. Morris. Is there some other important figures? It's kind of a fun subject looking up some of the designs some of these guys came up with going through patent files. Surprised no ones written a book yet on the subject.

Surprised no one has brought up Albert O Espe yet. He designed for lots of different folks.
