Default Huber Tractor Serial Numbers

Last year, I inherited a bunch of archival material through my new job. I am still sorting this stuff.
There is a reprint of the registry of the Huber gasoline tractors from 1911 to 1937. It has the serial numbers, dates, and where initially shipped. There is no indication on it who reprinted it or where the original might have come from. It is all hand written so some of the notes are hard to decipher.
If anyone has a Huber tractor and wants me to check the serial number, please post away. This is a busy time, so I may not get back to you right away.
Cheers.

Just to edit - the list I have ends at serial no. 11890, although there are two entries for 11900 and 11901. There is mention in the back of "a new book."

Rick, likely it is a copy of the list from the Huber museum. The late Dan Ehlerding was very active in the early days of that group and did articles on his early Huber tractor for AP. I'm thinking Patrick took a few notes? BTW, just got my copy of AP, Good job!

Does it list the engine numbers too, Rick?

New Job? have you even retired from the first one yet?

Does your list cover the George White sold Huber tractors?

David and Caser,
It shows:
- Serial number of tractor.
- Size - generally expressed as horsepower (ie 25-50), but if in large groups they give bore/stroke.
- Owner.
- Address.
- Date Sold.
- Remarks - I can see few remarks, but I have not looked through the whole thing yet.
Some of the big buyers were Haug & Sons in Regina; George White & Sons in London (Ontario); George W. Silcox & Son in New York; and B.F. Avery in Louisville.
I have not found mention of engine makes and numbers.

You might want to also get in touch with the Huber Museum at Marion as they might be of some help to you

Unkle G:
It sounds like you are looking at a copy of the sales ledger. There also exists a copy of the build records. These two books are a tremendous resource for the hobby.
Happy Hubering,
MSS

No, I am not keeping a registry - just wanted to help Huber owners if they are interested in data from this old ledger.
