There has been a lot of debate about why the WAMC did not continue after 1913 I think it was a casualty of it's own success. The promotion of traction farming by the contests spread that equipment over the whole of north America, The farmer didn't have to go to Winnepeg to see it, he just needed to look across the fence.

He might be able to raise the price of his book with a hug....or perhaps, that hug might just make it sell better???? Either way, I'll have to monitor him closely as he takes my Port Huron for a spin...he might just try to take it back across the border!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Happy BELATED Thanksgiving to my Friends to the North!

Okay Beth. Let us make it official:
a. I can run the PH at Wauseon next year.
b. I can belt it up to the fan and make it sing.
c. You can teach me how to fire it with coal.
d. You promise to give me a hug each day.
e. I take you over to Brenda's booth and get you a book.
f. You buy me a dish of chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup on it from the dairy booth.

Onkel G,

a. Certainly
b. Get the camera
c. Not gonna happen, she's a wood burner...just a sniff of coal makes it pop unless working it really hard and even then, only for the corners.
d. Certainly, but no sloppy kisses Wally B asks me every morning if I've gotten my hug from a steam man yet?
e. Might even get 2
f. Certainly, and I'll get vanilla with butterscotch topping!

Halcon,

Come on down with him and keep him in line. It might be most entertaining to watch 2 "Northerners" take the Port for a spin!

See you in June!!

Beth
