Default Maker's plate from a William Hensman & Son steam engine?

As you can see, this is an iron maker's plate, for W. Hensman & Son of Woburn, Bedfordshire. The rectangular part of it is approximately 7" by 4". Now, I've done some research, and believe it probably came from one of their farm steam engines and likely dates to the early 1850's, before their Woburn factory burned down and the company relocated to the town of Leighton Buzzard. Can anyone confirm - or debunk - this theory?
