Default Valve grinding pilot question

I have some black and decker valve guide pilots for my seat grinder. What are the 3 fingered ends on the pilot called? They screw on the pilot opposite the stone holder end and expand when you turn the pilot. I have two that are broken. They are 5/16 coarse thread.

I saw this post last night, I know what you are talking about, but not what they are called, best guess would be expanding collet

They are called a split sleeve and are not sold separately if you are trying to replace them.
