Default Need tool identified

Bought not knowing for sure what it does. I thought something used in making rope. I've watched video where they were making rope with a similar tool only it didn't have a long handle. The handle is about 3 feet long. Any suggestions?

I think it might possibly be mop handle that has its own wringing system built in.
I have seen one before and i believe thats what it was

I think he just nailed it. I know that I've seen that gizmo before and that definitely rings a bell.

Thanks for a quick response. You are exactly right. I was able to find the patent. I had this posted on Farm Collectibles with one reply. Of course it wasn't called a mop.
Thanks, Neal
