Default MDJE 7.5 or 6.0 Governor Linkage Length

Hello again stackers.
I had to replace the plastic ball joint on the end of the Governor Linkage.
It split and the nut moved down the threads a bit. I guessed the location but the gen is now slow to pick-up, even after adjusting the RPM.

I have looked at the manuals, and cannot find a set length of the linkage, ball to ball. Does anyone have one to measure, or know the length please?

I get 6.3 inches for an AMBAC (Bosch) pump or 7.3 inches for a KIKI pump. I have 8 of them in my shop right now with both kinds of pump on them. Cheers Dan

I found the solution.

The adjustment must be made so that when the governor arm is at full throttle, the lever on the pump must also be at the WOT stop.
