Default IHC LA Paint Colour Scheme

Hello,

A friend of mine over in Cornwall has an IHC LA which he is a little puzzled about the colour.
Most we have seen have been red all over or grey with red flywheels, his on seems to have been green with red flywheels.

Does anyone have and evidence of this colour scheme being used? A picture to confirm would be nice.

Thanks for any help.

Cheers Steve

i have one that was a "barn fresh one" that is painted exactly like yours and was wondering the same thing myself

mine also shows quite a bit of concrete here & there, makes me wonder if it might have been on a mixer & that company had it painted that way?

ill try & take some pics of mine & post them on here later today for comparison.

YEP
I got a low serial LA that is M green as well under the other newer "restoration" paints.
I was told one time that the early ones made for export were of this color. But I have nothing to back that up, only hearsay.

Cool Re: IHC LA Paint Colour Scheme

I found one with a little bit of paint and matched it more or less.I just figured it was the original color and that is what it got.Every thing else was black, flywheel, pulley, gas tank and skid.

I understand "as is".I am working on Maytag engines and I just clean em and make em run.No paint.I used to paint em up and make em look pretty, but am going to start to leave em "as is" as much as possible.
