I'm after working on a project where I need the old-style BA nuts and bolts. Does anyone have a selection of those from the sizes 2BA to about 6BA?

Hi All,
I'm looking for a sketch (dimensioned) of a Sundial 2hp muffler. My engine doesn't even have the rusty remains so I have nothing to rebuild from.

Hello Mr sundial
I'm pretty sure Don Reid sells those mufflers. It might save making one.
Vintage engine spares. Haven't got the number at hand
Cheers Scott

Hi Craig Gillingham
I think you will be able to get the BA screws you require from Model Engineering Supplies of Tullamarine Vic. http://www.mesupplies.com.au

Thanks,
Hello Greg
It's good to see someone bringing one of these back to life. Generally speaking, they're thrown away over here. Not sort after at all.
That should be an easy one. There is a nice chap on ebay here in Australia with a lot of Villiers stuff. I'd be surprised if he hasn't got anything.
Good little engines the Mk 12.
Is it the Australian built version?
Here is a link to the gasket set he has for the Mk 12. You should be able to contact him through it.
If he hasn't got one, I would have one at home you could have.

Thank Scott! I'll try contacting that fellow when I get home in a couple of days and can have a close look at the one I have in case there are differences between the Australian version and mine which I assume to be British as it's on a mk 2 Monrotiller. Seems at some point the tiller was run into something unforgiving and the cooling tin pushed the ignition backing plate towards the cylinder bending and cracking it. Otherwise I believe I have all the bits to make it right and would like to see it earning its keep in the wife's plot this spring.
Cheers, Greg

Hello Greg
The plates should be the same.
Let us know how you get on as those plates are common over here.

Cheers Scott

Hi all, has anyone got a big end bearing for a Ronaldson Tippett CK 2 cylinder (25 - 27HP) that you would be willing to sell? Hoping to get one from a wrecked machine - just needs to have sound backing metal as I'll re-whitemetal and get bored to the correct size. In the CK catalogue the part number is CK92. Cheers Lawrie
