Default Vertical two stroke hot tube - old-6"bore

Hello Stakers, Does someone know what make this is ? Or do you have one the same ?
Only have what you see in pic. missing fuel system, govner, & conrod, and flywheel, just to mention the big items ,
Would like to make this motor as original as possible but don't know how it was went to operate ?
Has an hote tube & some kind of adjustable auto ignition tube with a threaded rod inside the compression space in the head ?
Note ecentric on crank has a flange with mitred edge, is this for the govener ?
Regards stuart.

Hi Stuart,

It's an International Power Company, built in the US (I think).

My brother had one of these, it was a larger model, but it has since moved and I don't know where it is.

I got a call from the guy with the other Spiel engine in Australia the other day, he has just acquired the same engine, incomplete as well.

I have read an advert in Australia saying the engines can be started from cold. The threaded piece on top might be a device to hold the wick for starting.

Regards,
Wayne

Thanks,
Wanye,
Wendel's book has a listing - INTERNATIONAL POWER VEHICLE Co, Stamford Connecticut.
looks like this is what it is, Ive done a google patent search #748,011
Wilcott Remington ,was the inventor patented 29 dec, 1903,
The fuel system is still a mystory , i guess the fuel volume would need to be regulated (like a metz with a wedge to adjust pump volume)?
Have spoken to the "Spiel" onwer , we are both in need of more info ,
I must go now, regards, Stuart.
PS. Blue fuel - white smoke ,is a great page! a credit to all involved!
