Thumbs up Lead Mine, WV 2013

My father and our friend John Eddy went to the show at Lead Mine yesterday. Does anyone have any pictures to post?

Hi jeff ill post some pics ASAP I'm flying in North Carolina now. We sure had a great time, the local folks really like seeing all the engines and tractors

Thank you for the pictures Steven. The top right picture is of my father and engine friend of 35 years, John. That little LA that dad has in the picture I found at the Barlow, Ohio show in 1976 when I was six years old. I asked the man to sell it to me and we agreed on a price but I had one problem, I was short on the amount of money needed by at least a "0" so I showed it to my dad and he bought it. It has thousands of miles on it traveling to shows over the years and has been a good engine for him to display when he can't take his bigger stuff.

Anybody going? Beautiful mountains around this little show, well off the beaten path but well worth it to hear a steam whistle echo off the mountains!

Are you bringing a steam engine this year? I have been pondering flying up and taking my dad this year.
