Default 4Hp Vertical Oil Well Supply info wanted

Hello,

Does anyone have any information on the 4Hp vertical air cooled OWS engines. I am looking for any information on the company and this style of engine in particular. I have not been able to find much info at all. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Yeah Scott, I've looked high and low on line and have struck out. All I've found are pages in OWSC catalogs. They have traits of Myrick and Bovaird and Seyfang but are unique. Seen several with broken crank cases.... Mine has a factory Wico R1 drive. I wonder if there is any info to be had. There is a nice one in the museum in Oil City down the road from the old ARACO factory on Seneca St.

Other than the catalog, this is the only paperwork I have on it.

One more pic. Also interesting they advertise electric driven pump jacks, and also Novo powered pump jacks.I was told years ago they only built the vertical engine for a couple of years, but I don't have enough catalogs to prove this.

Still looking for any information that I can get on the vertical Oil Well Supply engine. So far the only thing that I have found is for the horizontal engines. If anyone has a catalog, brochure, or pamphlet on the 4Hp air cooled vertical I would like to get a good copy of it. Thanks
