Default IHC LB Flywheel

The spring in handle on my flywheel broke the other day on my IHC LB engine. Is there or where do I begin removing the pin from the flywheel and replacing that broken spring. I have a new spring in hand.

Be very careful it is quite easy to break the thinner cast iron on the back pin mount.Liberal amounts of WD40 or similar---be very careful with heat also,Norm

Sometimes IHC didn't drill the hole all of the way thru on the LA/Lb FWs . Drill a small hole but big enough for a punch thru the wheel at the underside of the pin and drive it out. There's a small plug at the outside sometimes. Looks like a small flat freeze out plug. Rob

Donkeypull- ShopDogSam likes to cut the pin if the inside hole isn't drilled all the way thru. That's what I did, but then you have to replace the pin. Check it out:
