Default Where to get 6" threaded pipe and fittings?

Hey all,

I'm working on my 40HP bovaird and seyfang, which has a 6" exhaust outlet. I'd like to use real threaded pipe and fittings for at least part of the exhaust for accurate looks, but it's hard to find that stuff! all i've found is 6" pipe for $16 a foot: https://www.warrenpipe.com/hardware-...dproduct=18252

and an 90 degree elbow for $150. ouch!

anyone have a good supplier or suggestion, or maybe some fittings they'd like to sell to me?

thanks!

conrad

Try your local scrapyard, the one I go to usually has an amzeaing selection of pipe and old fittings. Be suprised at scrapyards. Found a whole bunch of bronze coffins and said he just sold one to make a munster car. Frank

Also try a local fire protection contractor. They use that kind of pipe on sprinkler systems.

This is an oilfield supply store. I'm sure they can get what you need. Not sure about the prices.
