Default Ball 20HP Crankcase Covers

Working on a 20HP Ball with the two crankcase covers and I do not understand how the oiling system works. Does it require grease cups, site oilers, or just what? If you have an engine like this or know about these engines, any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

David

The crankshaft would have a small chain running over it and would rotate with the crank and hang down into the oil reservoir and bring oil up with it to lubricate the main bearings.
Sort of the size of a bicycle chain...

Don't let it sit out in the rain. The water will float the oil out and you won't know it till winter. Seen a few Reids and Balls with the bedplate split wide open.
