Default Fairbanks Morse Magneto ID

To make a long story short I got a couple of magneto's in scrap from the USFS. I'm not into scrapping, but I had to take the scrap and junk to get what I wanted. I fished out these magnetos, because they looked interesting and wondered what they went to. I'm assuming they are the same since they are identical, but only one has the data plate readable the other is painted over.

Thanks for the reply. Since they are painted red I thought they might have something to do with a fire pump.
