Default Wico AH magneto rebuild

Hi fellas, new here with some questions wrt the mag from my IHC LA engine.
I would like to know how the points backing plate is removed from the mag?
Something behind it is rubbing on the rotor which I presume comes out the back?
Also in the market for a set of points and coil cover.
Thanks in advance
Walter from Alberta, Canada eh!

Called Rudy at Adrian's Magneto Repair. Chatted a bit then ordered the set of points I need. The point cup is seized up or frozen in place on mine so will avoid removing it if possible.

i think you leave that plate in place and take the rotor out from the front.

Thank you Barry. Can leave the magneto alone for now. Waiting on the points which should be all I need.
