Sad to hear of your loss. Time never heals the pain but does lessen it.

Otto. This may give you a smile.

My mom would not let anyone mow her yard. She would run you off if she caught you mowing her yard. This weekend me and my brother were over cleaning up and mowing the yard. We caught our selves watching the front door. Waiting for her to come out and run us off.

While loading the mowers up. We were talking about. How bad it was. For two grown men 42-62. To be scared of a 100 pound 82 year old women that is no longer here. But it did ease the pain some.

Wish there was a "Thanks" button on the Old Engine Memorial forum so I could thank each of you individually that way, but as I noted before, Thank You All for your thoughts and comments.

Figure I should say here as I noted in the thread that Craig started for me, (& Thank You for That), that Dad requested NO Cards or Phone Calls (for himself), and I hope that anyone one on here that Does Know him from years ago to please honor his wishes. IF you are someone that has stayed in contact with him over the years, I doubt he would mind hearing from you again, but maybe at the same frequency you've been in contact with him in the past instead of flooding him with calls or letters. Anyone else that hasn't talked with him for a long time, please respect his privacy, but keep him in your thoughts.

Thank You All again.

Just buried my Uncle yesterday, so He, my Mom, and my Grandparents on Mom's side are all together again now.

I don't recall my Uncle ever being a club member, but he did attend the Threshing Show once in a while, which is where I last saw him a few years ago.

Not really looking for any replies to this, just wanted to post it in with my Mom's info for my own sake.

Hardly seems like it's getting close to the two year mark for Moms passing.

Also got a couple pictures I hadn't seen before of Mom & Uncle in front of the family car and with Grandpa that I thought were kind of neat.
Grandma must have been the photographer since she's not in them.
