Default Steam engine and boiler on cart. New toy for me.

I have no idea where to post this post... so It's in the wrong spot please
move it. I just got this steam engine and boiler. Back in 1973 it came
out of the Magee Transportation Museum in Bloomsburg Pa. It closed
down after the Agnes flood of 1972 messed it up. I this the person that
bought this engine left it sit outside all this time 45 years. Unbelievable
it still turn over. Looks like I only need to replace some pipe and tee's.
I think it had a real good coat of paint on it when it was sold. The boiler
is a little Giant but I have no idea who made the engine. The only
numbers I found on the engine is A1300-3-1/4-1. The boiler has a
Hancock inspirator on it.The wagon wheels was sank into the dirt all
the way to the hubs. I had to cut trees out of the frame to move it.
It sure look good for sitting all that time. I will do a hydro test on the
boiler this spring. Can't wait to fire it up.

Hi Kevin,
Where you posted your original thread (Traction & such) would be the place to either have this moved or continue there. Nice find!........PD

Better check if that lap seam boiler is legal. I think you may need a boiler inspection, not just a hydrostat test.

There is no way this boiler will ever be legal . It has no stamping of
any kind. No national board stamp no ASME stamp. I'll just be using
it ay home. The is my second Little Giant boiler. My first one has no
stamping ether. I also have another small boiler with no markings.
