Default Hot Tube Info Needed

I am working on a Struthers Wells halfbreed that had hot tube ignition. Are there any plans out there for making the hot tube? It is gone except for a short nipple coming out of the head I think it should be similar to the one shown below.

What is the NPT of the hole you want to put a hot tube into. I made this hot tube assembly. But changed it to a myrick an used a horizontal hot tube. If you need help making a burner. Let me know.

The important thing is to have a long enough hot tube so that when the engine comes up to compression, it is able to force the mixture into the heated area. If you get it set up, have the tube hot, and she refuses to fire..., chances are the tube may be too short for the extra plumbing with the elbow and such.

John Burns used to make hot tubes out of stainless steel, with a 1/4" IPS base. You can bush down 1/2" to 1/4" easily. Not sure if John still has any left, but he might be able to point you in the right direction.
