Default Narrow Base Webster Mag with Double Magnets on 3 hp Engines

I have a narrow base Webster with 2 magnets. I need to know if they used them on 3 hp engines. The bracket is a 1 1\2 hp Sandwich m31. It has two magnets and it fits my 3hp EV Emerson Brantingham . But a 3 hp especially throttled govern kerosene should have a wide base mag.Would a double magnet run it
I kniw I could try running it but it does not run and a man at LeSuer wants to buy ithe bracket.
I would hunt a wide base bracket if need be. I may glue wood on it and widen it for a larger mag.

On engines that don't run, I think any Magneto will serve as well as another. ;-)
I gave a more complete answer on your other thread.
