Question Kootz missing parts.

Here is a picture of the front of my Kootz. The air intake has a flange on the front of it, what should go there?

Greg,

They were made so that a model T carb will bolt on to run on gasoline.

I start all of mine by rocking against compression.

Hello
I have recently acquired two HM Spence Engines and was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could get parts and pieces and also info on them? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Tom Winland should have parts. I tried to run mine on gas at a show, but the bouncing made the float keep giving it gas. Hot tube and gas are not a good combo. I start mine by opening the cylinder release. Spin twice thru. And fires right up.
