Default Jensen Brothers Pump Jack-what would this be worth

Hi all, I came across this pump jack the other day. I was wondering if any could maybe tell me what this might be worth? The serial number is 57284 idoes that mean that it was made in 1957? It does have the 13w on it. It does appear to be in working condition. Here are a couple pics of it.
I might be interested in selling it.
Thanks in advance. Dan

At one time I saw them go for over 1000.00. Now the market seems softer, and I see them in the 5 to 6 hundred range. Still a desirable item.

If it turns over with out noise then the bearings are probably good. Yes you have dated it correct and as to the worth i would say $500.00 low and $1,200.00 high to the right buyer.

Dan, thanks for the info, it does seem to turn over pretty descent. I wish that was a 57 chevy instead of a pump, lol.

Yea I wish I had the 57 Chevy I had in high school and college. Of course I wish I had all the old Harleys I picked up while in college for almost nothing. Oh well cant go back.

The first 2 numbers is the year that the Jensen Jacks were made. Very collectable. Makes a GREAT working display, especially if it is pumping Oil, or Water etc.. I have reprints of a breakdown of the parts list and shows the size of the Cylinder needed for pumping different depths for the Jensen if anyone need one. Contact me at XXXkb0wiz@yahoo.comXXX.
