Thanks!

Exclamation Re: Sterling Engine???

The haed and cylinder design look like an old early Lauson engine i used to have (1940s vintage)

A friend of mine had it on the tailgate of his truck at the show this past weekend. I walked over and said "Hey, is that some kind of Lauson?" He said, "No, it's a Sterling. You want it? Take it." Well, I couldn't turn down an offer like that! He got it from a man that had two of them. The guy made one from the two and this one I have is all that was left of the donor engine.

I just looked at the Tillotson OEM list and the carb on this engine is listed for a Lauson. Maybe it is a Lauson.

Get in touch with a Stak member named Bill Prior. He has one like it. It is a Lauson Model RAY.
Here is a picture that he sent me of his.
