Default Onan CCK compression ratio's

I am wondering about Cck's compression ratio's both high and low compression heads. I clicked on the search button and nothing happened. Thanks for any information you might have.

CCK gasoline generators are 5.5 to 1 compression. CCK vapor only sets are 7 to 1 compression. The industrial 3600 rpm capable engines are 7 to 1. A 5.5 to 1 compression head has a step between the circumference of the piston and the gasket surface. The 7 to 1 head is flat in the piston area. I have the 7 to 1 heads on my 5.0CCK that can run gasoline or vapor.

The standard 5.5:1 heads give a compression reading of 100 to 110PSI. The high compression 7:1 heads give a reading of 130 to 140PSI. I have high compression heads on both of my LK's, and soon to be on two of my CCK's. I run on gasoline only, but the high compression heads reduce fuel usage. Hopefully this summer I will get a chance run a test on fuel consumption differences.

I put a high compression head on the LK I just bought and after lapping the valves and checking the compression HOT, I got 122 PSI.
