Not a buzz coil. If the engine is ignitor you need a low tension coil, a regular old automotive coil will work fine just use the primary side. Wire the battery negative to the engine base and battery positive to one screw terminal of the coil and the other screw terminal on the coil to the ignitor post. One thing you may need to check however is if the points on the ignitor are normally open or normally closed, if they are normally closed then you will create a direct short when you attach a battery and coil configuration. The engine will run but the coil will overheat and drain the battery quickly.

If you use an automotive coil take and short the center high voltage terminal to the coil's metal can, this will help keep high voltage from arcing through the insulation of the windings.

Not original in any way, shape, or form, but we get by with grease zerks on a couple of our engines... and it is easier to just give a shot with the grease gun every now and then instead of taking the cups apart and filling them... and it was cheap for us.
