Default Easy Washing Machine Engine?

Got me easy all together with a problem I hope someone can answer.Turns over fine without the spark plug in.With plug installed(compression of course)theres a loud bangin noise.I don't think its the connecting rod assembly.I mo theres a bit of play on crank bushings though.Maybe nothing but......and maybe that's how most are

Well I took it partially apart and its definitely crank bushing and big end of connecting rod.Thought I checked that.Any parts out there.Or ill have to see a machines I spose,dang it

check your crank main for roundness also. I have one where it isn't round anymore. Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Well here's what's up.Gotta regrind the connecting rod journal,make a new crank bushing and have a new babbit bearing made.In order to regrind journal I have to take apart the crank as the crank weight is in the way of the journal and reweld weight back on the pins on the crank.
