Default 1 hp Mogul Fuel Tank Fill Pipe

I am starting to work on my 1 hp Mogul that a have had for years. I have saved reference pictures over the years to help with details. I noticed some have a straight fuel tank filler pipe and others have a curved filler pipe like a model M would have. Mine has the straight filler pipe. Is this correct in the early years of production? Or, were all of them curved from the factory?

Thanks Steve and Matt. Mine is W8949......1916. I did notice on one reference picture that I have shows the curved pipe on the igniter side of the engine. My straight pipe is on the other side just like most I have seen.

My 1918 has a strait pipe on the starting side. Believe it was that way originally. Cap as two vent holes.

Regards, Kevin
