Default Mogul fuel tank info needed

Hi all, Need help with decription or picture of what the fuel tank pick up siphon tube or fitting is supposed to look like. This is the fitting that goes from the top of the tank to the fuel pump. This is specific to the 1 hp size Mogul although I believe that it is essentialy the same for all the smaller sizes, maybe the M's as well. Bought a new tank which has just a smooth bore fitting on the top of the tank with no threads. Is there supposed to be a smooth fitting similar to a waterpipe elbow and a pick up tube inside it? Looks like whatever it is is suposed to be sweated to the tank??? Any information appreciated.
