Default Pump Jack project completed!

Here's some eye candy for you guys. Started this project early this spring and finally have all the little details wrapped up! It's a Hudson Thurber pump with a Baker Monitor pump jack. If you're in the Perham MN area stop into Perham Pioneer Festival August 19-20 and see it in action.

Very nice, I like the way you set it up with removable wheels. I was thinking about doing something like that to mine.

Very nice, Thanks for displaying it . You mite get more kids looking at it then older people, because of the water tank .

Thanks for the comments guys. I got the inspiration from my Grandma's farm. She used to let me turn on their old pump jack to water the cattle. Her's had an electric motor. It sat in the pump shed and had a diverter cup on about a 50 or so foot length of pipe which emptied into a huge galvanized tank.

I brought it to our town's summer festival last weekend and got a lot of good feedback. When I have it sitting directly on the ground it's funny how many people think there's a well under it. The kids definitely find it fascinating. It was a fun project and I'm very happy with the way it turned out.
