Default 1903 15hp Reid

Just got home with the latest toy. Its a 1903 15hp Reid. Had a small problem getting it from one trailer to the other, but there is always a way around that!

Nice Reid I was tempted to make an offer when I saw it on the trailer, when they were dlivering my clutch. (HA HA) Looks to be a good engine . Here are some photos of how I got mine home. Phil

Just got the Reid off of the trailer today and with the help of my two kids got it put in to the shop so I can start to have some fun. Ordered some parts from John Burns tonight and hope to have them soon.

looks good Bob, nice old base. The pipe roller trick works well, I have used it many times myself. Phil

4,800 without wood or steel mounting, add 1200 or so if you install a clutch. Phil

Here is some nice cribing we recived from the railroad, when they rebuilt the 1898 swing bridge across the river near our base. Nice thick oak and ceader, Used some for my engine bases. You just dont see this wood anymore.
