Default Commercial Engine Co.?

Does anyone know anything about the Commercial Engine Co. out of the L.A., California area? I have several photos, but cannot seem to find any more information. Places to look for info?

I know they built 8 HP to 42 HP engines, maybe some larger or smaller. They were around in the early teens, but I don't know when they exited the market. Wendel doesn't show anything either, at least under the Commercial name. Any help would be appreciated.
