Shawn,
Was there but can't tell you what the crusher did. They had 3 auctioneers going at one time. Lot of stuff being sold.

If I remember right there were three there that did not bring over five hundred a piece.

What did the George Pohl and the big IHC bring? Looks like a treasure trove of goodies. Rob

I'd love to know what the steam stuff brought-didn't hear anything mentioned about this auction on the steam side (maybe I had missed it?) but looks like there was some neat stuff there, for someone with enough gumption (and deep enough pockets!) to restore it!

Rob,
I wasn't writing down prices. I think the George Pohl was around 5000 and The Int. about 3500.

Shawn,
They needed 3 auctioneers to get through all of it in one day.
But it was a lot of jumping around. Almost missed the engines because they went early.
This is my load. Just common stuff and parts engines.

The Associate I found on the way along a road for sale.

The Associate looks like a nice engine. What is that engine on your trailer, back row, seat #2 (middle) ?

---------- Post added at 08:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:14 AM ----------

Mike,
The A.W. Stevens sold for 29k to a well known collector in Canandaigua. One of those where two people wanted it I guess! I don't have accurate prices on the others, but they sounded like they were more in line for their condition.

I hope the wooden threshing machines are headed to a good home.

Woah... the big 20 horse international only brought $3500? Why does that sound incredibly low?

That sounds MUCH better. Which International brought 3500? I was there and brought home the 5HP Fuller & Johnson. Needs a little work but not much.

I think the 6hp Famous brought around $3000, I was the backup bidder but I cannot remember for sure. It was a little rough and had a cracked spoke in one flywheel.

Thanks for clearing that up. Those prices seem more reasonable. I was kicking myself when I read "the big IHC" for $3500. I thought he meant the 20hp.

Sorry about the confusion. This is the engine I thought Rob was asking about. The 6 hp.
