The 3CR tells us it is single phase only with the full 15 KW. The B80 in the serial number says it was built February, 1980. This will run a house including A/C which makes it very desirable in hurricane country so yes it will sell for $1500 no problem if it works. I would buy it for that. So many of these are code 15R which is single and 3 phase giving only 10KW in single phase. 10KW gets iffy for A/C so this is more desirable.

Thanks for answering Jim, that's what I was hoping to hear! I just sent them my offer, now to await their answer! If I succeed in it's acquirement I can sell 2 of the 3 units that I have and make a little room for something else, maybe bigger!!

Gene, from the Spec Code "AB" it would seem that you have a YD Genend.
These are Brushless, and have a decent Electronic Voltage Regulator. I would
question the assertation that this Unit didn't have many Hours on it, as
it looks "Well Run", and a bit "Greasy", Usually those units, when in "Hot
Standby Power" Service normally have less than 500 Hours. and they usually
don't get looking like your picture in only 500 Hours. Is it Gasoline Fueled,
or was it setup for Gasious Fuel?

Thanks for the replies guy's, but it doesn't matter now! I offered the $1500 and was topped by 2 other's..One was $1550 and the other was $1600.. Oh well maybe I can get this @^&1)*&6&^% Kohler running now.

The Onan was in a auto recycling business, owner was killed in auto accident, widow was "cleaning shop".
