FM is a Norwegian firm who produced superb marine engines. FM stands for Fredrikstad Motorfabrikk.

Do you have any knowledge on these engines? The first mystery for me is I cannot find an oil fill/level or drain port ANYWHERE on the engine or transmission??? The Oiler is if wick type covering the mains and piston but not the rod. It seems to drain oil out of the engine or transmission you would have to remove and inspection cover and pump it out.

No knowledge at all, only a couple of photographs. Can't find much on Google either. I think they may have also made stationary engines. It may pay to ask the question on the Antique Gas Engine Forum.
