Default Which way does the mag band go?

I have a Webster mag, and now thanks to Grape I have an original brass mag band. My question is, when you are standing on the mag side of the engine, looking down at the mag, does the lettering appear upside down... or upside "right"?

Looking at a bunch of pictures over the last couple hours I have seen them both ways.

Not sure that it matters, but I might just as well do it once!

Put the band so reads next to you, That's all the originals that I have seen.

Tim, glad your happy with the band. I had a webster mag on a 6HP Galloway. With mag mounted and looking at the engine I could read it correctly.
