Default Re: Australian Made Vinco Engine Carby

It's one of several "knock off" Scheblers made in Oz.

I believe BR is Blaxland Rae.

Vinco's generally/always? came standard with a Kingston carb. All of the ones I have seen are unmarked and likely a "knock off" as well.

Thanks Mark,
Yeah ok it all makes sense, carby has which looks like Blaxland red on it. A mate just found some info on an old sales brochure, they were listed there as RVB. Any idea what RVB translates too?
The engine I have has never seen the salt water & is damage free - I restored & fitted the magneto, added a new plug & with one turn of the wheel it fired. I do have the clutch assemble(centrifugal?)which has governor weights that fly out then engage onto the shaft as the speed comes up. The only thing I need is the muffler? I collect vintage stationary engines of non marine type so any further info would be great

Cheers
