If some of you've seen, there is a nice Aultman Taylor wood thresher on Ebay. Item # 300234656522. Between two bidders their are 34 bids so far.

But neither of them is bidding very much money, which would lead me to the conclusion that neither is serious... its entirely possible that they are shills trying to drive up attention for this item.

I'm willing to bet if the under bidder bid one more time, he would be the high bidder.

I would say this lends creedence to my suggestion that the auction is a bit dishonest... look at the times of those bids... within minutes of each other, right up to, but not over, the reserve... next bidder is going to break that reserve...

There are auctions all the time where one cheapskate will bid repeatedly with only modest increments in the bids.
All THAT does is show everyone ELSE how interested he is.......
All the auction being discussed here illustrates is two people bidding against themselves.......

If the first bidder put a bid of $1999.00 on it,everytime someone else bids less than that, the original bidder is going to continue being shown as the high bidder.I don't see what anybody thinks is fishy about this auction but I think the reserve probably is quite a ways from being met,at least it should be.
