I finally got to the small meters..... What you see in the 4 pictures below are NOT high quality meters when compared to the big 4 inch meters that I posted earlier, but are commonly seen online, at least the style.

The meters pictured below are a frequency meter (European 55 Hz center scale), volt, and amp meters. The volt meter works well, the Hz meter seems to read low and I did not try the amp meter. Most likely the amp meter needs a current transformer. I will sell all three for $7.00 or best offer plus shipping. Maybe you may get 1 or 2 good meters out of the three and if lucky all three may work. Look at the 4 pictures below, decide and PM me.

Break time for dinner then I will start inventory on the small 3.5 inch meters and other things I'm finding in the boxes of crap I got.

*** If you are just tuning into this thread, please look at my previous postings of today to see the other parts that I inventoried today.

This posting and the following post shows the small meters and some other the other crap I got that I'm tripping over. I am NOT going to name a price on these items yet. The person that won the bid on my meters from my Ebay ad last week requested first dibs on the small meters. This person is also a member on this forum that I don't think wants to be immediately known. I am posting the pictures for all to see. Anything left over will be up for grabs. I believe a decision will be made shortly, so look over the items shown in this posting and the next posting now.

*** Check out my previous postings here to see other things I advertised earlier.

... continued from last posting ---

I attached several pictures below to demonstrate that the Hz meters work and some other non-meter things.

First picture is a Hz meter (European center 55Hz face style), but functions perfectly for 60Hz. Dead on!

Second picture is a reed type Hz meter. I assume this is old, but NOS and works perfectly!!! Dead on 60 Hz. Cool meter!

Third picture - This is the big red switch to launch nuclear bombs. Trump and that a-hole in North Korea has one each. I have TWO of these, but no bombs to launch.

Fourth Picture - I got several of these "kits". Made in USA!!! Not cheap-azz China sh!t.

OK, I got more, but Spent enough time on the inventory for now. That is it for today... Please see my previous postings in this thread for the other items up for sale.

Johnny, I'd like one of the switches. Relay is 125 _DC_, won't like AC. I have some bigger contactors in 125 DC in one of my devices, fed through a diode and with a cap - they seem to be fine. Got em cheap, found out why later... My bad for not paying attention! Now what to do with the NOS 600 VAC (coil) contactors I had to take as part of a pkg deal. They're AB brand, new coils aren't $tupid.

One switch for you to go! I did not test the switches yet, but will do on Sunday and get back to you. Good eye on the 125 VDC for the relay coil. I missed that. I wonder what it was used for????

Those breaker control switches are I believe momentary position and return to center. Used to close or trip large relay controlled breakers.

Switch will probably be a display item, if no one wants the other one I'll take it. Give someone else a chance on it first though. Would make a cool retro stop/start switch... Thx Johnny!

125 DC (nom) is common in substations and control centers as battery backup. Only place I've ever encountered it.

Johnny, no need to test switch, it just needs to look pretty...

Hi JohnnyC, if no one wants the 2nd pictured reed type Hz meter, I would like to know how much you would like for it. It looks very close to the one on my 5.0cck.

Same company - I will measure the meter at the face and get back to you here on Monday. Nice reed meters. The meter I have is OEM in the box. As you seen in my picture, it works excellent.

Today I took a detailed picture of the Hz meter that is similar to yours. This is an NOS meter and tested. The face is about 2 3/4 inches across as seen in the picture below. It is for the same voltage as yours in the picture. If this is good, please send me a private message to continue.

Thanks,

Just a note about Johnny s meters: a lot of them are 5amp full scale, most are able to be taken apart and the scale face removed, flipped over, re-scaled and reassembled. This means they could be re-scaled anywhere from 5 amps up when used with the proper current XFMR. I've "converted" many meters in this fashion.

Thanks! That being said, the 2.5 megawatt meter seen in the picture below would be PERFECT for an Onan 2.5 kilowatt LK with only a slight meter face modification and the proper CT.

Why change the face?... I'd leave it, good test to see who's paying attention.

Be careful, some of the meters look to be 0-1 ma. Just going by the pix, blowing them up on my cell phone - some are hard to read (the infamous "fine" print).

I have a JB 120/240 stator only from a gen that I scrapped. It came from a 7.5Kw MDJE . If you have a 3 phase JB and want full output this might do it for you. The case/stack length is 3.620 to the outside of the can where it sits inside the endbells. If yours measures the same it should work. I have checked it with my milliohm meter and it is good, I will check it with a megger as well as soon as my son brings it down from up north. Pm me if interested. Cheers Dan

Will that control box work on a 6.00 JB?

I think a look at the schematic for a JB and the DJE would help me think through this.

]Is that a 6.00 control box on that gen set pict?
