I don't know any inside details but it looks to be a butt strap boiler, 8 1/2 by 10.

PS are you related to the late Clyde Costley?

the frick sold for 15K as i stood 3' from it. it had alot of welds and holes..i heard it sold to a phone bidder who is from NJ. i believe its gonna stay in NJ. there was 2 phone bidders. if it wasnt for them 2 bidders,it had a high bid on the ground at $2500. the farm tractors sold cheap. i noticed several bidders back out of bidding as everyone talked about the bad economy. i went as far as i could on a couple tractors. i fetched a truck load of iron that no one seemed to care about.(engines, tools, parts) and a odd belt driven grape grinder/press..it was a good sale and i wasnt sent home with just a tail between my legs..
