Photo Re: My winters project

Here what I'm working on for my winter project 8hp Pattin Brothers Pumping Power - when done will also have the pull type pumpjack restored and hooked up to this engine unit and pumping oil

Pictures of restoring this engine can be seen at http://www.geocities.com/oilfield62/8hpPattinBros.html

( first try at posting a picture on this new board ) guess if it don't work you can always check out the the pictures at the restoring link

My newest acquisition. I wasn't really looking for another engine when the phone rang a couple of weeks ago. It's a 1-1/2hp McCormick Deering M that is complete except for the Wico mag. The only problem is it's mostly in a box. Hopefully I can figure out how to put it back together one of these days.

That connecting rod looks a little better in the bottom pictures. Where you lucky enough to find a parts engine too?

I have one if someone can tell me what it is. This is an old walk behind and the engine is gone. I have no idea what should be on the tractor. Any ideas ??

It has dual steering clutches and a rubber u-joint, as such, from the engine to the trans. You may see in the photos, there is a rod that has something to do with the engine or clutch. ????????????

Ths tractor has 32" X 8" wide iron wheels. The engine mounting holes are 13-1/2" X 6-1/2".

A series of photos to follow.

Thanks,

Jim

Andy

We have a lot of MOSS, here. Wet most of the time.

The Yellow wheel is on the front of a JD tractor. The car wheel you see is on the pump trailer. The yellow tank is an old fuel tank and the other yellow objects are Keizer 2 stroke roto-tillers. On on rubber and the other has steel cleated wheels.

I found these at an old guys farm in the mountains.

Jim
