So the generator stuff is kind of polluting the original intent of this site?

Fair enough, but I got into this site because of generator links, and have since found the rest of SmokStak very interesting also.

Perhaps you should include a bypass of old homeowner lawn mowers while your at it.

Ha Ha, just kidding, one of the fascinating things about this site is seeing what other people collect and fix up. We likely all have a lot in common. Thanks.

Interestingly, I used to always click on the "Today's Generators" link. When it disappeared, I really missed it at first, but then I grew to enjoy reading about much of the other stuff like tractors and so on.

Posted a question about a military generator I picked up today in "Mags... etc". Then I stumbled on this Generator link.
Now confused as to where to post questions about generators. I did read comments in this link where some feel generators should be removed. Rural areas did use generators, some now antique, so this information should continue. In fact at our thrashing bee yesterday a couple of Wyoming friends were going to pick up a 4 cylinder Kohler antique generator shortly.

I would like to think that if something is powered by any kind of engine, it has a place here.
The older the better, but all should be welcome.

I zeroed in on this site for Antique engines. Having been here for a while, and reading some of the post in the genny section my observation is there are some wonderful nice folks there who bend over backwards to help others. To all you genny guru's, it's nice to have you as family
