I just bought a briggs fh engine its miising a few parts. What i need is the carb or mixer that looks to mount on the fuel tank then a pipe? runs up to the intake? If some one has a picture of what i need and where i can get parts reasonably priced let me know. Thanks Harry

Somebody must really like the carbs for these engines, because a lot of them are missing. I need to find one for my FH. This site should help you see what you need. Lots of other info for Briggs here too.

The pot metal carbs were/are quite fragile compared to cast iron. When some of the engines were "stored" they got knocked over or things fell on them-so much for the carb.

If you're patient you can find the carbs on ebay. There's one newly made fuel pipe on ebay right now; the same man has them on frequently. They look just like the old pipes.
